National Projects

JCI Alabang believes in the advocacies of JCI Philippines. Here are some of the national projects JCI Alabang participated in the past few years.

bags

Bags to School (BTS) is one of the flagship projects of Junior Chamber International Philippines, Inc. This project aims to promote primary education nationwide in line with UN-SDG’s Quality Education campaign, i.e., ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, particularly children in stressed areas. BTS, a simple idea, can significantly impact the education of many children. Every local organization (LO) in JCI Philippines is invited to provide impoverished Filipino students with school bags and school supplies to assist them in their education needs and to alleviate the cost of schooling.

Beyond Prison Walls is one of the flagship projects of Junior Chamber International Philippines, Inc. This project aims to help the correctional community (the people behind bars) in their total human development based on the principles of a balanced and restorative justice namely; Human Rights Advocacy to the Accused, Sports, Cultural and Educational Programs and Providing them with Livelihood opportunities.

This is also aligned with JCI Philippines commitment in addressing Sustainable Development Goal no. 16: To promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institution at all levels.

Got Heart is a Community Health Awareness program of JCI Philippines which aims to promote good health and well-being in the underprivileged communities around the country through medical, dental, and surgical missions, distribution of free medicines, free eye check up and health education awareness program and counseling, as well as to provide a problem-solving formula in order to address the issues and concerns of the mind, body, spirit, and emotion.

This is also aligned with JCI Philippines commitment in addressing Sustainable Development Goal no. 03: “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all.”

JCIdeas is a flagship program by JCI Alabang that empowers young Filipino leaders through impactful 20-minute talks on topics like leadership, entrepreneurship, and social issues. Open to both JCI members and the public, it encourages open dialogue, critical thinking, and meaningful change. Beyond personal growth, JCIdeas fosters community transformation and supports JCI’s mission to develop future-ready leaders for a better Philippines.

JCI Week is a nationwide annual celebration from April 6–12 that brings together JCI chapters across the Philippines for a week of impactful events in leadership, service, and community development. Guided by the theme “Build Better Together,” JCI Alabang organizes activities such as health drives, job fairs, and youth events to empower individuals and engage communities. More than just a series of events, JCI Week promotes leadership, unity, and meaningful change — open to both members and the public.

Mission Possible is JCI Alabang’s flagship initiative that empowers Filipino youth to lead community-driven health solutions. Aligned with UN SDG 3, the program delivers free medical missions, health education, youth leadership training, and digital outreach to underserved communities. With over 5,000 residents served and 300 youth leaders engaged in 2024, it’s a growing movement for healthier, empowered futures across the Philippines. All programs are free and open to volunteers, partners, and young leaders nationwide.

Pinay Power is a national initiative by JCI Alabang that empowers Filipinas to lead and succeed in all sectors through leadership training, economic empowerment, civic engagement, and gender equality advocacy. Open to women from all walks of life, the program equips participants with the skills, confidence, and support to create lasting impact. Rooted in equality and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Pinay Power builds a more inclusive Philippines—led by Filipinas, for Filipinas.
