Our programs are designed to develop the next generation of leaders while making a tangible difference in the communities we serve. Whether through leadership training, nationwide initiatives, or innovative grassroots projects, JCI Alabang champions people-powered progress guided by the values of service, growth, and collaboration.
What JCI Alabang Does, Programs That Empower and Inspire
JCI Alabang’s projects and trainings are anchored in JCI’s global mission: to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. We believe in learning by doing, our members lead projects, solve real challenges, and grow into impactful leaders.
1. Foundational & Leadership Training Programs
Every great leader starts with a solid foundation. That’s why we offer a progressive training suite for members at all stages of their leadership journey:
- Foundational Courses: JCI Discover, Explore, and Adventure courses that introduce our core values and mission.
- Leadership Development: Learn Effective Communication, Project Management, Effective Meetings, Conflict Resolution, and more.
- Advanced Trainings: Master skills like facilitation, public speaking, and strategic planning through courses like JCI Facilitator and JCI Presenter.
These trainings empower our members to confidently lead projects, manage teams, and create lasting change in their communities and beyond.
2. Community & National Projects
Our commitment to service goes beyond the classroom. JCI Alabang proudly participates in several national initiatives that make a direct impact on the lives of Filipinos:
Bags to School JCI Program
A nationwide campaign that equips schoolchildren with backpacks and essential learning materials. This initiative promotes inclusive and quality education, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.
Got Heart JCI Program
A community health mission that provides free medical, dental, and eye care services, along with mental health support and wellness education. This project supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
Beyond Prison Walls JCI Program
A powerful restorative justice initiative focused on supporting people deprived of liberty through education, advocacy, sports, and livelihood opportunities contributing to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
3. Flagship Local Programs: Creating Ripples of Change
Since our revival in 2014, JCI Alabang has launched and sustained seven core projects that continue to transform lives:
Peace in a Cup JCI Program
A social enterprise sourcing coffee directly from farmers in conflict-affected areas of Mindanao. By paying fair prices and promoting peace through trade, this project supports economic empowerment and peace-building.
Gumball Rally JCI Program
A unique motorcade fundraiser where car enthusiasts unite to raise awareness and funds for cancer patients, blending passion with purpose.
Stairway to Haven JCI Program
Ongoing support for the youth at the Haven for Children center, providing education, health services, and emotional care for vulnerable children.
A‑Circles Business Forum JCI Program
An entrepreneurship platform for business-minded youth to learn, connect, and be mentored by local industry leaders, fueling both innovation and leadership.
Project: reCREWtment JCI Program
A volunteer recruitment drive that taps into the energy and potential of millennials and Gen Z, offering them opportunities to serve, lead, and grow.
