JCI Week: Building Better Together

JCI Week is our annual national celebration, a time when local JCI chapters unite for seven days of purposeful collaboration and community action. This flagship initiative showcases our collective vision: that empowered youth, working together, can build stronger, healthier communities across the Philippines.

What Is JCI Week?

Running simultaneously in all Local Organizations from April 6 to 12, JCI Week brings together the energy and creativity of youth leaders nationwide. Under the theme “Build Better Together,” it highlights everything we stand for: service, leadership, and sustainable change. Throughout the week, chapters host a wide range of events across our Four Areas of Opportunity:

  • Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Individual & Chapter Development
  • Community Action
  • International Cooperation

JCI Alabang: A Proud Participant

At JCI Alabang, we’re honored to be part of JCI Week. This annual platform gives us the chance to:

  • Raise visibility for our mission through public-facing campaigns
  • Engage members with leadership workshops and service projects
  • Connect communities through meaningful local activities

Participating in JCI Week reminds us and the public what JCI stands for: developing young leaders who create lasting, positive change.

Events That Make an Impact

Here’s a glimpse into the kinds of local events our chapter organizes during JCI Week:

 Health & Advocacy

  • Blood donation drives
  • Mental health workshops (like “Silver Linings”) with partner chapters

Learning & Skill-Building

  • Public speaking, entrepreneurship, and leadership workshops
  • Job fairs and university outreach events

Community Action

  • Environmental clean-up campaigns (“Think Green”)
  • Outreach programs—prison visits, youth sports, and hygiene clinics

 Fellowship & Networking

  • Fun runs, trivia nights, and family-friendly events
  • Sports tournaments (like esports) blend camaraderie and competition

These activities not only inspire JCI members they also connect us with neighbors, schools, barangays, and even local government partners, deepening our impact and reach.

Why JCI Week Matters

JCI Week is more than just events on a calendar it embodies our core values:

 Brand Visibility & Public Engagement

We open doors, spark curiosity, and tell our story through media coverage and social campaigns.

Meaningful Community Impact

Health drives, skill training, and environmental actions bring real progress to real people, building healthier, more empowered communities.

Fostering Camaraderie & Shared Values

Through shared efforts and fellowship events, we nurture unity among JCI members across towns, regions, and generations.
