A Safer Digital World | Bluecap Culture Movement
Last Feb 15 JCI Alabang, in partnership with JCI Nepal and the International Justice Mission (IJM) facilitated the webinar “A SAFER DIGITAL WORLD FOR EVERY CHILD: A Webinar on Child Safeguarding & Protection.”
With more than a hundred attendees from the Philippines and across the globe, the webinar was a tremendous success, bringing together renowned speakers and dedicated individuals in spreading awareness about child protection in the digital landscape.
Our speakers include:
- JCI President, Admore Alzate founder of the BlueCap Culture Movement
- NC Binesh Dongol, National IT Committee Chairperson
- Glenn Edwards, Local Activation and Partnership Lead from IJM
Our experts facilitated a very insightful and engaging discussion, sharing invaluable knowledge on the importance of digital privacy and online safety, focusing on current online issues such as cyberbullying, sexual exploitation, grooming and more.
They also shared strategies in preventing and reducing the risk of child exposure to these digital challenges. The webinar also highlighted the need for collaborative efforts between parents, educators and the value of awareness of these online challenges in ensuring a secure online environment.
Special thanks to our participants from our JCI Philippines co-hosts, JCI Nepal and IJM whose active involvement made the session even more insightful. JCI Alabang is grateful for the opportunity to work with such passionate individuals in creating a safer digital space for children worldwide!
It was such a heartwarming experience to see all these individuals working together to help spread the awareness of all the cyber-issues and how we can all play our part in creating a safer digital world for Children across the Globe. I was very honored to be speaking alongside NC Binesh and Mr Glenn Edwards who have done so much in this space. – President Admore Alzate
