JCI Alabang hosts the 2025 Gusi Peace Prize International laureates in Muntinlupa

The JCI Alabang BOD had the great honor of attending the Gusi Peace Prize International Welcome Dinner at the Hilton Hotel last 26 November where they got to meet and mingle with the laureates and other local and international esteemed participants.

The Gusi Peace Prize  is the Asian counterpart of the Nobel Peace Prize–it is given to recognize individuals and organizations who contribute to global peace and progress in a wide variety of fields. The Gusi Peace Prize is referred to in Presidential Proclamation No. 1476.

Following this dinner, JCI Alabang, in partnership with the City Government of Muntinlupa‘s Museo ng Muntinlupa and the Tourism, Culture, and the Arts Department, executed the culminating event of the weeklong celebration of the Gusi Peace Prize International by hosting the laureates and giving them a tour of Muntinlupa City.

We were able to proudly showcase the talents, and the arts and culture of Muntinlupa to various nationalities at the International Exchange Program. Most importantly, we were able to show them how JCI contributes to the attainment of peace through our impactful projects and peace-loving members.

It was truly an honor to be amongst such exemplary individuals which served as an inspiration for our members to continue to strive for excellence and driving positive change in society.

Special thanks to the Gusi Family and Gusi Peace Prize Foundation under the chairmanship of Ambassador Barry Gusi for gracing the event with their presence. The event also would not have been possible without the help of our President Admore Aquino Alzate, Project Chairperson Gerlie Sevilla, and our enthusiastic 2025 JCI Alabang BOD and members.
